Of all the places to meet, Vicki and Sam met a wedding. This Wisconsin - Illinois couple didn't let distance stop them from dating, and later getting married - and there was a church full of people happy for that on October 7th.

I used to pray to the rain gods for no rain on a wedding day, but I've become less concerned with that. Is it a coincidence then, that I've now had at least 4 rainy day weddings in 2017? Not sure. But, it hasn't stopped any of my clients from venturing outdoors for some fun shots anyway! Thank goodness!

Vicki & the girls spent the morning getting their hair done at Gemini salon, then returned to Wyndham Garden in Kenosha for make-up by one of the bridesmaids, and the rest of the getting ready fun.

Vicki had her flowers custom made (out of paper thin WOOD!!!) and dyed to match her wedding colors from an Etsy vendor. These bouquets were absolutely stunning. She had wrist corsages made to match, as well as some other flowers for the cake.

Vicki's dress is from Bon Bon Belle & the bridesmaid dresses came from: Azazie.  And her uh-maaaazing shoes from DSW. Seriously, that color is perfection. Rings from Rosado's Box. Vicki wanted a blue gemstone for her engagement ring, and the colors for her wedding day were based around that.

The ceremony, at St. Elizabeth's was beautiful, and finished in time for us to get out to Southport Island for some fun shots with the couple and their wedding party. Vicki & Sam put an ad in the Kenosha News requesting the red lighthouse be lit for the night, in celebration of their wedding day.

Right as the rain hit, guests and friends moved the party to Public Craft Brewery downtown Kenosha. Cocktail hour & dinner took place at Circa on Seventh, (always DELICIOUS), O&H made the cake, and Xcite Entertainment kept the party going!
