When members of the bridal party give their speeches, it's great to hear a little insight about the couple that I've spent the day with, as I don't usually know them too personally. But at Sarah & Steve's wedding, I was not even remotely surprised when his groomsman and her sisters gushed about how they are the sweetest, nicest, friendliest (and most photogenic) people they know.
Even though I didn't meet Steven until that day, I had gotten together with Sarah and her mom a couple times over the past several months to talk about their plans, and visit the venue. I'd already gotten a fairly good idea of the kind of people I'd be working with for the day - and it was truly a blessing to have been a part of this wedding.
The girls looked impeccable with hair done at Studio One and make-up by Megan DeMeyer. Sarah's dress is from Kathryn's Bridal and the rest of the girls' dresses came from David's Bridal. The groom & groomsmen were on point, thanks to Mens Warehouse, and Helzberg and Kay Jewelers are where they got their rings.
Alexa, at Wedgewood North Shore, made sure everything went off without a hitch. And she did a fantastic job. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, and every last detail had been taken care of, right down to giant pitchers of ice water for the guests immediately following the ceremony. Lovin Oven kicked serious butt with their gorgeous cake making skills, and Memory Makers kept the dance floor hopping all night! It was such an amazing day!
